Intrepid Travel appoints new EMEA head of marketing

Australian travel firm Intrepid has appointed Morwenna Francis as its new head of marketing for its EMEA region.  

Francis will be based out of the company’s regional head office in south London and will be responsible for the adventure tour operator’s B2B and B2C marketing strategy.  

Francis joins Intrepid from her role as senior brand marketing manager at British independent coffee producer Pact Coffee.  

She had previously worked her way up to UK head of marketing at EasyJet following several years at the budget airline.

“Intrepid is a brand I’ve admired for a long time, so I can’t wait to get stuck into the role.” 

Intrepid EMEA managing director, Zina Bencheikh added: “I’m thrilled to have Morwenna join the team. 

“Her role will be vital as we recover from the pandemic and grow sales from the EMEA region, which is key to Intrepid’s 2025 strategy.”
