Petrol station brand Jet has released a new, tongue-in-cheek ad created by London agency Isobel poking fun at so-called ‘forecourt dramas’.

This latest campaign aims to showcase how Jet ‘takes the drama out of driving’ by offering its customers safe, reliable service, and is set to feature a series of ‘knowingly OTT films’ alongside digital executions.

Spearheaded by a 30-second clip featuring a distressed bridesmaid worried about missing a wedding, only for her friend to fill up in no time at all, with any fuss averted – the clip ends with the tagline: “here for drivers not dramas”.

Led by TV assets, the campaign is also set to be rolled out across video-on-demand and social media.

“As well as showing how Jet do all they can to help drivers ‘Keep on Moving’, these wonderfully fun, silly and ridiculously dramatic films show Jet’s human side and character, highlighting that at JET – there are no dramas,” Isobel creative director, Ben Stump said.

Jet brand manager, Rob Runnels added: “This campaign by Isobel is full of humanity and humour – and truly captures the unique spirit and personality of the Jet brand.

“Deliberately over the top and ‘dramatic’ the scenarios are nonetheless relatable and will resonate with our customers. This is a campaign to be proud of – one that puts a smile on your face and stands out for all the right reasons.”
