The Estée Lauder Company has planned a review of its EMEA media planning and buying account.
Currently, ‘big six’ agency Dentsu manage the account.
The review will reportedly not include the UK, where the media account is held by agency MG OMD.
According to Engage, an Italian marketing news website, the process is being overseen by R3. Whether Dentsu will re-pitch for the account remains to be seen.

Winning the account from OMD in 2020, Dentsu has spent two years managing the media planning and buying for the cosmetics company. Prior to this Dentsu-owned Merkle handled the account.
The company owns several brands including Estée Lauder, Clinique, Tom Ford Beauty, Aveda, Mac Cosmetics, and La Mer.
The Estée Lauder Company has held reviews every two years for the past six years.
R3, Dentsu and Estée Lauder are all yet to comment on the situation.
