Steven Bartlett’s Flight Story invests in Nuevo to tackle greenwashing in the marketing industry

Steven Bartlett’s communications group, Flight Story, has announced its investment in Nuevo, a creative agency working against greenwashing in the marketing industry.

The agency believes that through a lack of awareness the media and advertising sector is ‘killing the planet’, creating a carbon footprint which is now ‘larger than that of civil aviation’.

“With spend on video surging by 78% in the last two years, this problem is about to get a whole lot worse,” Nuevo added.

The agency was founded with a vision to deliver strategy and global productions with the least amount of impact on the planet, taking sustainable production ‘beyond’ carbon offsetting initiatives.

Nuevo’s new partnership with Flight Story will enable the business to scale, helping more brands move towards ‘net-zero marketing’, through Flight Story’s robust partnerships and networks. The Steven Bartlett co-founded company will also help reverse the damage the media and advertising industry has had on the planet.
