Omnicom’s Annalect appoints new managing director

Omnicom-owned data and tech specialist Annalect has appointed Marie Clayton as its new managing director.

In her new role, Clayton will join the EMEA senior leadership team and will report in to Annalect’s EMEA CEO, Jon Ghazi and OMG UK’s chief product and technology officer, Sean Betts.

Before joining Omnicom Media Group as a managing partner in 2020, Clayton had amassed close to a quarter-century’s worth of industry experience, working across media, marketing and data for a range of large international firms such as the BBC, Carat, IPG Mediabrands and Dentsu.

Commenting on her new remit, Clayton said: “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to lead Annalect at a time when data has become one of – if not the most – important conversations in client board rooms.

“I look forward to driving even further growth of Omni, optimising both usage and utility of the platform and it’s tools to it’s full capability. We’re very proud of what we’ve achieved thus far and there’s certainly more to come.”

OMG UK CEO, Dan Clays added: “Marie has made an outstanding impact on our business since she joined us two and half years ago – leading the successful rollout of Omni in the UK and playing a highly influential role with clients enabling them to unlock the potential of our platform and applications.”
