Bridgestone recruits Team GB gold medallists for Paris 2024 sponsorship campaign

Bridgestone UK has recruited Team GB Olympic gold medallists Adam Peaty and Charlotte Worthington as new brand ambassadors for its upcoming ‘Prepared to perform’ brand campaign.

As a worldwide partner of the Olympic and Paralympic games, the Japanese firm’s new campaign will aim to ‘honour and highlight the diligence and determination’ of athletes preparing for 2024’s Summer Olympic games in Paris.

Five-time swimming medallist Peaty and one-time gold BMX medallist Charlotte Worthington will take part in a series of candid activations, in which they will reveal what it takes to succeed at Olympic level and give insight into their own preparations for the Paris games.

“I am incredibly excited to be the new ambassador for Bridgestone UK. Being prepared to perform is everything,” Peaty said.

“Making sure you are consistent, making sure you work hard, and making sure you take every opportunity to push yourself is key, because at the Olympic Games you cannot rely on luck, you make that performance every day with the hard working and training.”

Worthington added: “Being part of this campaign that shines a light on hard work and preparation is something I hold close to my heart, because as Olympians and athletes we work hard to eliminate any chance of things going wrong and ensure we are always ready to perform when it counts.”
