Sportswear giant Adidas has come under fire over for proceeding with its partnership with Kanye West after the rapper and fashion designer has constantly made antisemitic comments.
The rapper claims that the brand could never cut ties with him.
However, now customers are calling that the brand does so and have threatened to boycott the retailer if it fails to do so.
This dude Kanye is a clown. @adidas what do you think about this? He seems to imply you’re okay with antisemitism.

One social media user said: “The fact that Kanye West can go on a podcast and admit to saying “antisemitic shit” and then with confidence says Adidas won’t cancel him just shows you how antisemitism is normalised in our industry.”

Another added: “Adidas pays Kanye West lots of money, and Kanye West uses that money to fuel his anti-semitic agenda. If Adidas does not stop funding him, we #BoycottAdidas.”

According to marketing consultant Andy Duggan, the sportswear retailer will end its partnership with West.
Instead, Duggan said, West is trying to speed up the process and get the “best cut of the separation deal”.
“What’s interesting about Kanye making these statements is this causes society to call out Adidas and demand actions from them (eg – end the deal),” he said.
“Ye (formally Kanye) also knows that Adidas are now in really challenging times with or without him.”
According to Duggan, Adidas doesn’t have a plan B from a creativity and innovation viewpoint but plan A is “no longer tenable either”.”
This comes as shares in Adidas fell more than 9% last week.
