London-based agency network VCCP has this week announced the acquisition of behavioural science firm, Cowry Consulting as part of its accelerated growth strategy.

The moves comes as VCCP looks to place behavioural insight and data at the heart of its business model in a bid to strengthen its business transformation offering.

The acquisition will equally serve to bolster VCCP’s creative output, enabling the firm to deliver bespoke creative solutions based around how a brand’s customers behave.

“Behavioural science is at the beginning of its journey as a discipline but it’s already proven invaluable in helping businesses transform consumer and colleague behaviour,” VCCP London CEO, Andrew Peake said.

“Its value is in helping clients to tackle some of the biggest perennial challenges to achieve commercial outcomes and we couldn’t be more delighted about Cowry bringing their unique capabilities into the VCCP family.”

Cowry’s existing client relationships will not be affected by the changes, concurrently the outfit will now work to support VCCP on current and future opportunities.

Cowry Consulting founder, Jez Groom added: “We’re excited at the prospect of bringing behavioural science to life through one of the most creative groups in the world. Behavioural science is now playing a key role in the growth of brands and businesses and VCCP Group will accelerate our influence and impact within organisations.”
