Tech giant Samsung has announced that it will become an official partner of Channel 4’s ‘Sunday Brunch’ show presented by Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.

Brokered by Publicis’ Starcom, the partnership will run from this Sunday (12 March), and will serve to promote the South Korean firm’s premium home appliances and ‘Bespoke Home’ line-up.

Focusing primarily on Samsung’s domestic appliance offering, a extensive series of idents has been produced to show off the manufacturer’s full range of household products, ranging from fridges and ovens to hoovers and washing machines.

“We’re so excited to be sponsoring such a highly regarded and popular programme,” Samsung Electronics head of brand marketing for home appliances, Gino Grossi said.

“Every week, people across the nation will be tuning in to see mouth-watering meals being cooked using our Samsung Bespoke ovens, hob and Family Hub fridge freezer in the Sunday Brunch kitchen. This partnership will help Samsung build a strong proposition for consumers, creating desire for the full range of our premium appliances.”

Produced by creative agency Exposure, the idents will run for 12 months and will also be promoted online and in-store by Samsung’s retailer partners.

Channel 4 sponsorship and commercial partnerships leader, Rupinder Downie added: “This well aligned partnership extends beyond sponsorship, with Sunday Brunch showcasing Samsung’s domestic products on a weekly basis as they entertain the UK. The carefully thought-out product placement not only builds brand awareness but demonstrates the products functionality for potential customers.”
