Independent creative agency Dude London has hired Grey creative director Tomás Gianelli in a bid to bolster the agency’s creative department.

Gianelli has worked for Ogilvy, BBDO and Ponce in Buenos Aires for local, regional, and global clients such as Carlsberg, Nestlé and Very.co.uk.

The new hire will work directly under executive creative director Curro Piqueras and London CEO Francesca Spitali and will work with clients such as Affinity Petcare, Trainline and Campari.

“Tomás comes to Dude at the right time to do great things and make Dude London Thrive,” Piqueras said. “His experience at some of the world’s top agencies will be key to leading a department of 10 talented creatives from eight nationalities who are ready to smash it.”

Gianelli added: “I feel honoured by the trust Dude has put in me. I’m looking forward to doing great stuff together and (last but not least) having lots of fun along the way.”

Marta Morientes and Vic D’Andrea from MediaMonks and Pietro Soldi will also join the expanding creative team.

Dude is a company operating in different industries (branded communication, advertising, motion pictures, cultural entertainment, game entertainment) and a company group including five different companies (Dude:Milano, Dude:London, Dude:Originals, FeST, The Impossible Society).
