Dame Judi Dench has reprised her starring role as part of MoneySuperMarket’s ‘MoneySuperSeven’ in the comparison site’s latest integrated brand campaign.

Developed by London agency New Commercial Arts, this latest instalment sees the saving experts entrusted with helping seven different people across seven different cities save serious money – as the cost-of-living crisis bites ever harder.

Shot by acclaimed film director John Madden, the spot will be rolled out across mainstream TV, video-on-demand, cinema and online video – supported by executions across out-of-home, audio and social.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Dame Judi back to lead the MoneySuperSeven as they work harder than ever to help households get the best deals on their bills,” MoneySuperMarket chief customer officer, Lis Blair said.

“This is the third instalment of the MoneySuperSeven and just as the financial challenges facing households continues to grow, so too does the squad’s determination to save Britain serious money.

She continued: “We will continue to champion inclusivity in our advertising, and we were delighted to learn that the previous instalment scored in the top 3% of ads for its positive portrayal of female characters1. Kantar’s research also highlighted that the range of characters inspires others. We hope our new campaign will inspire more people to get the best value deals for their household bills.”

With media planning and buying handled by UM London, the ad will premiere on Channel 4 tonight (21 April) during a screening of Gogglebox.

New Commercial Arts creative founder, Ian Heartfield added: “Dame Judi Dench and the MoneySuperSeven are back in their biggest and boldest assignment yet, reflecting the ever- increasing importance of saving money within the cost-of-living crisis.”
