Nissan and creative agency Dark Horses have unveiled a star-studded content series titled ‘Electric Away Days’.

Hosted by TV sports presenter, Craig Mitch, each episode is based on the trip’s destination and the special guests’ personalities.

The first episode sees Mitch drive to a Manchester City FC game with former football player, Joleon Lescott, and former world champion boxer, Ricky Hatton. Along the way, the two guests share their love for their team and the game, discussing memories of their own away days and their thoughts on driving the new Nissan Ariya.

The series hopes to combine the buzz of football away days with the thrills the Ariya provides. According to the car brand, the model’s e-4orce technology and durability means fans can travel hundreds of miles without the need to plug-in.

The series launches on YouTube and digital channels, with two more episodes to follow.

“We wanted the work to encapsulate the anticipation and adventure of an away day, and relate to fans who are committed to supporting their teams all around the UK,” Dark Horses creative directors Adam Burns and Paco Lopez said. “Craig and his celeb passengers show that the Ariya isn’t just practical for the journey, but also adds to the excitement .”
