London-based independent media agency the7stars has named Barty Mee as its new head of partnerships, effective immediately.
Mee joins from his previous role as business director at Omnicon-owned firm Drum, where he worked for over six years. He will now be entrusted with helping the7stars’ clients to build ideal partnerships with brands, media partners and creators.
Reporting in to managing partner Anuschka Clarke, Mee will oversee a team of six planners and project managers, working alongside the agency’s ‘Supernova’ team.
“Barty comes with a wealth of exceptional partnerships experience and a hunger to deliver brilliant work for clients,” Clarke said.

“His strategic approach and entrepreneurial mindset perfectly align with the values of the7stars, and we were impressed by his portfolio of work.”
Mee replaces the outgoing Rachel Lorenzon, who left the7stars last year to return to her native New Zealand and develop her own business project.
Mee added: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the7stars. It’s an incredibly exciting time in partnerships and content, and I can’t wait to join the team in developing and delivering pioneering and ambitious campaigns.”
