Magners selects new lead creative agency

Irish cider brand Magners has this week appointed New Commercial Arts as its new lead strategic and creative agency for the UK market.

The London agency has kicked off the partnership with a new integrated campaign focused on driving awareness of the Magners brand during the key summer season.

With media planning and buying handled by Republic of Media, ‘Gardens. Best Served with Magners’ is being rolled out across out-of-home, digital, radio and podcast partnerships.

“Summer is synonymous with cider, and our new positioning and campaign from NCA celebrates this and the different forms this can take. Everyone loves a bit of outdoor space, and our campaign seeks to put Magners at the heart of this,” C&C brand marketing director of cider, Ben Turner said.

A series of live activations will also be launched in support of the campaign, with the ‘Magners Secret Cider Garden’ set to host live music at venues across the UK.

New Commercial Arts managing director, Hannah White added: “We’re thrilled to be working with Magners and launching our first work to celebrate the iconic combination that is cider and gardens.”
