Price comparison website Moneysupermarket has shared its latest MoneySuperSeven ad, which sees Dame Judi Dench going undercover at the opera.

The 60-second spot is the third film in the popular MoneySuperSeven series from New Commercial Arts, all directed by Shakespeare In Love director John Madden.

The undercover secret agents arrive at the theatre with the mission: “To deliver savings and rewards to new SuperSaveClub members”.

With Dench firmly in charge, the agents proceed to rush around the auditorium and behind the scenes performing acrobatics on flyrails before identifying their target and handing him a SuperSave club envelope filled with rewards.

“From Moneysupermarket, you’re gonna love them,” the agent says.

Live from 3 May, the campaign is also accompanied by a 30-second TV edit, and will appear in cinemas, VOD, online video as well as radio and social.

The ad was created by NCA founder Ian Heartfield and creative directors Alex King and Raymond Chan.

Last month Moneysupermarket appointed Ryan Lindo to head of performance, a move which follows on from the brand boosting its marketing spend and revenue.

Previous ads from Moneysupermarket have caused controversy, including an ad featuring a twerking businessman in heels.

“We’re delighted Dame Judi Dench and the MoneySuperSeven are back to help even more households save money on their bills and get rewarded for it,” said Moneysupermarket chief customer officer Lis Blair.

NCA creative founder Ian Heartfield added: “London’s historic Coliseum provides an atmospheric setting for the MoneySuperSeven’s next mission and is an environment their boss is very much at home in.”

“This is the most filmic instalment of the campaign to date.”
