Price comparison site Uswitch has selected creative agency Lucky Generals as its new agency of record following a competitive pitch process handled by AAR.

The appointment marks the culmination of a review process that was kicked off last year with Atomic London and St Luke’s joining Lucky Generals in the final stage.

The London agency’s remit will now include the creation of a ‘bold, long-term creative platform’ that will be pushed out across of the website’s various touchpoints.

“We are at our best when working with ambitious clients who are on a mission, and from the moment we met the team at Uswitch, we were left with absolutely no doubt that that’s the kind of team they are,” Lucky Generals managing director, Vickie Ridley said.

“We are so thrilled to have been selected as their agency partner, and are so excited for all that is to come.”

With the client side of the review overseen by Uswitch chief marketing officer Rachael Pollard, Lucky Generals has been enlisted to help position the brand as consumer champion operating within a highly volatile energy marketplace.

Pollard added: “We want to re-enter the market this year with a bold, new, long-term creative platform that enables us to bring what’s different about Uswitch to life in a memorable and impactful way so that we can help people all over the nation to get a better deal on their home-life essentials.

“When we saw Lucky Generals’ idea, we knew immediately that they understood not only our offering but our relationship with our customers and we can’t wait to begin our partnership with them.”
