As part of an international leadership reshuffle, Dentsu EMEA’s CEO, Giulio Malegori has been promoted to group chief operating officer of Dentsu Group Inc, whilst Jean Lin, Dentsu Group Inc’s chief culture officer, is to become its group president, global practices.
The pair will now report in to the group’s president and CEO, Hiroshi Igarashi, with Malegori set to head up Dentsu’s community of regional chief executives whilst overseeing global client growth, business operations and IT.
Lin will be entrusted with bringing together key practice areas across the agency’s current brand portfolio and will also be responsible for nurturing Dentsu’s talent.

The Japanese outfit has said that further details concerning the structure and leadership of the new brands and practices group placed under Lin’s care will be made public in the coming months.
