Govia Thameslink (GTR) has appointed MSix&Partners as its new media agency following a pitch process.
The move will see MSix&Partners provide the franchise, which operates Southern, Thameslink, Great Northern and Gatwick Express, with omnichannel marketing services.
In addition to media and digital strategy, planning and buying, the agency will also provide PPC and SEO services. It will supplement this with data and analytics to help effectively interpret and review performance.
The Thameslink’s pitch focused on shifting commuter audience outlook, as leisure travel comes to the fore.

It builds on other big wins for MSix&Partners, including the Purplebricks account, which it kicked off with a range of OOH and TV assets on Boxing Day. The agency had worked with Strike, which acquired Purplebricks earlier this year.
GTR head of marketing Dominic Morrow said: “Throughout the tender process MSix&Partners demonstrated a clear understanding of our shifting audience and how best to combine our insights with their media expertise to deliver value for us and our brands in 2024 and beyond.”
MSix&Partners UK managing director Victoria Bickle added: “To win such an important business, and one we often use ourselves makes this win even sweeter and is testament to the strength of our team and partners.”
